This is a simulation, not a market
TrezCap is a learning and practice environment. No order placed here reaches any exchange, broker, bank or counterparty, and no money, security or currency ever changes hands. Balances, positions, P&L and certificates exist only inside this platform.
Prices are simulated, and near-real by design
Market prices are generated by this platform's own simulation engine so that every learner sees the same numbers on the same day — which is what makes assessment fair. They are close to real market levels but are not live market data, not a feed, and must never be used to value a real position or inform a real trade. Where a live reference rate is used it is labelled as such on screen.
Real company names, simulated prices
Some instruments carry the names of real listed companies so the learning is recognisable. Their prices, volumes and events here are simulated and are not those companies' actual market data. Fund, scheme and asset-manager names used on this platform are invented and do not refer to any real regulated product.
No advice and no recommendations
Nothing here is investment, trading, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, currency, commodity or fund. No output of this platform — including any AI-generated explanation — should be acted on in a real market. Speak to a licensed professional before making a financial decision.
No affiliation or endorsement
This platform is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any exchange, clearing house, regulator, bank, asset manager, professional body or examining institute. Where standards, frameworks or regulations are described, they are referenced as subject matter being taught. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.
Content and copyright
The learning content, question banks, scenarios and project briefs on this platform are original works written for it, and are protected by copyright. They may be used by enrolled learners and their institutions for learning and assessment, and may not be copied, resold or redistributed without written permission.
Your information
Personal details are collected only to run your account and your learning record. To register you need a name and a password and nothing else — city, phone number and email are optional, there is no OTP, no identity document, no date of birth and no address. Beyond that the platform holds the institution you belong to, if any, and the work you produce here. This information is used to operate the platform, show your progress to the faculty or administrator responsible for you, and issue your certificates. It is not sold, and it is not used for market activity of any kind. Do not enter real customer data, real account numbers, real card or bank details, or any other live production data into this platform: it is a training environment and nothing here should carry that kind of information.
What we record about your visit
When you are signed in, the platform records when your session started and ended, how long it lasted, which screens you opened and in what order, and the city and country you signed in from. This is used to understand how the platform is being used and to notice misuse; it is visible only to the platform owner, and it is never sold or shared. Your IP address is not stored. It is used once, at the moment you sign in, to work out the city and country, and is then discarded — it is not kept on the record of your visit or anywhere else. That single lookup is performed by ipapi.co, which receives the address and nothing else: not your name, not your account, not anything you did here. Visit records are kept on a rolling basis — the most recent 2,000 — and older ones are deleted automatically as newer ones arrive. Because the shared demo logins are used by many people at once, a visit recorded against one of them is not attributable to any individual.
What a certificate here means
Certificates and skills records evidence work completed on this platform. They are not a regulatory licence, a professional qualification, or a substitute for any examination set by a professional body.
One learner per individual subscription
Individual learner subscriptions are intended for use by one registered learner and must not be shared with other learners. Your account holds your own learning and assessment record, and a certificate is issued only to the account whose work earned it. Sharing an account may result in suspension of the subscription and/or loss of certificate eligibility.
