For BBA, B.Com, MBA and PGDM students · and finance graduates
A banking and treasury simulation for finance students: do the job your syllabus describes.
Your syllabus tells you what a forward premium, a DSCR or an LCR is. TrezCap lets you use it. You take a desk in FinTreasury Bank, our virtual bank, and do the work a dealer, a credit officer or a treasury manager does, with the numbers moving as you decide. You are scored on every decision, you see what your call did, and you build a record you can talk about in an interview.
What you practise
- Treasury and FX: quote a two-way USD/INR price, pick the right value date, book a forward for an exporter and cover the position it leaves.
- Money market and liquidity: fund a shortfall in call money or repo, and keep the bank’s LCR above its floor on a bad morning.
- Bonds and ALM: price a G-Sec, read the yield, and see what a rate rise does to the bank’s gap.
- Credit: appraise a working-capital or term loan from the client’s figures and defend it to a credit committee.
- Branch banking: open an account, check KYC, send a payment, and spot the red flags in a suspicious transaction.
- Corporate finance: capital budgeting, valuation and working capital, from the company’s side of the table.
Learn it first, with Professor Owl
Each topic starts with a short voiced class. Professor Owl teaches, Riya is sure of the wrong answer, Kabir asks why, and you jump in before Owl explains. The classes are in English or Hindi. Then Do it with Owl walks you through the same task on the live screen, and Trezi, the AI coach, answers your questions on any screen. The AI explains; the figures always come from the bank’s own calculators.
Follow the deal all the way
A deal in FinTreasury Bank does not stop when it is booked. It moves the way it does in an Indian bank, with each stage marked as front office, middle office or back office and kept apart:
- Front office: the client’s request, the quote, the limit check and the booked deal.
- Middle office: positions, limits and risk, and the independent check on the desk’s P&L.
- Back office: validation by a second person, confirmation with the counterparty, settlement instructions and settlement.
- Accounts: the journals reach the ledger, and from there the P&L, the balance sheet and the cash flow statement.
Interviewers for treasury and operations roles often ask what happens after a trade. Here you will have done it.
Your syllabus, your exam, your interview
Pick your course or exam and TrezCap shows which topics it teaches and where to practise them: BBA, B.Com and MBA finance papers, and maps for JAIIB, CAIIB, NISM, CFA Level I and FRM Part I (independent maps, not official study material and not affiliated with the exam bodies; see your exam, mapped). Placement Prep has finance interview questions and the news to know, and the Interview Lab gives you mock interviews to practise. Each course you finish earns a Certificate of Completion with an id and a QR code that anyone can verify online. A certificate is evidence of work done in TrezCap; it does not promise a job.

Questions
What is a banking and treasury simulation for finance students?
It is a virtual bank where a student does the work of a banker: quotes FX, funds the bank, appraises loans and runs a branch. The platform calculates the figures, the student decides, and each decision is scored. TrezCap's virtual bank is FinTreasury Bank, which is fictional.
Do I need to know banking already?
No. Each topic starts with a short Professor Owl class in English or Hindi, then guided practice on the screen. You can begin with the basics and move to the desks when you are ready.
Does it help with interviews?
It gives you something concrete to talk about: decisions you made and what they did. Placement Prep has interview questions, and the Interview Lab gives you mock interviews. TrezCap does not promise a job or an interview.
What do I get at the end?
A Certificate of Completion for each course you finish, with an id and a QR code that anyone can verify online. It is evidence of work done in TrezCap, not an exam result.
Is it free?
Yes, TrezCap is free for now. Sign up with your email or a Google account and start.
